Tweeting

Since I got my Blackberry, I've become a huge fan of Twitter. I'm not on it ALL day, but I tweet fairly regularly!

I think it's a great way to keep in touch with the rest of the world, plus I get my celeb fix by following my favorites. Rob Lowe, Kirstie Alley, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Dr. Oz, and sooo many more.

And chances are good, I follow you too. If you follow me, I usually follow you right back! I love tweeting with folks! Especially the Big Country Listeners!

If you're on Twitter, follow me! Just click on the link at the top of my blog! You never know when you'll get the inside scoop at Big Country, or when I'm able to give away sick shwag!

The Meatloaf Mess-Up

Last night, I managed to mess up the most un-mess-up-able food in the world. My absolute FAVORITE food in the world. MEATLOAF. I had this plan of going home and belting out "I Would Do Anything For Love" whilst making my meatloaf. When that didn't happen, I should have known things were going to go downhill.

The last time I used ground beef, I mixed it with ground pork, to make some tasty tasty meatballs. They were divine. So I thought, why not repeat what I did last time, and make meatloaf?

Somehow I added too much oregano and/or thyme and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Holy smokes! I had one piece, and got to hang out with a tummy ache for the rest of the night.

I haven't messed up food in a LONG time...not since the first time I made Kraft Dinner, and forgot to drain the water before adding the cheese...my brother, Lance, still reminds me about that 10 years later!!
What's something super easy you've messed up? I'd love to hear your stories!!

Do you read my blog?

I'm always curious as to who reads my blog? I know I'm not the greatest at keeping up with it...and I'm SORRY!

I want to take this opportunity to just say THANK YOU to you. Yes, you. You, the reader of this blog; the follower on Twitter, and most importantly, the listener who takes the time to listen to what I have to say on your radio, or on your computer!

I genuinely enjoy talking to you when you call in, and wish you would call in more often, just to chat. I really do feel bad when I can't get your song on, or if I have nothing to give away that day. I've been where you are, and I know it's frustrating!!

You are the reason I do what I do. And for that, I say THANK YOU!
