The Meatloaf Mess-Up

Last night, I managed to mess up the most un-mess-up-able food in the world. My absolute FAVORITE food in the world. MEATLOAF. I had this plan of going home and belting out "I Would Do Anything For Love" whilst making my meatloaf. When that didn't happen, I should have known things were going to go downhill.

The last time I used ground beef, I mixed it with ground pork, to make some tasty tasty meatballs. They were divine. So I thought, why not repeat what I did last time, and make meatloaf?

Somehow I added too much oregano and/or thyme and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Holy smokes! I had one piece, and got to hang out with a tummy ache for the rest of the night.

I haven't messed up food in a LONG time...not since the first time I made Kraft Dinner, and forgot to drain the water before adding the cheese...my brother, Lance, still reminds me about that 10 years later!!
What's something super easy you've messed up? I'd love to hear your stories!!

  1. Christmas Dinner. I overcooked the turkey and when I cut into it, it was quite literally like the Family Griswold turkey on Christmas Vacation. Everyone said it was fine, but I'm not so convinced.

Then I ate that dry, dry turkey for the next month.
